Anime Portrait: Vash

Decided to start out a sketch of Vash the Stampede from my favorite animeTrigun. Wanted it more life like than anime. This is just the start. Hopefully when I hit a copy machine I will get it more flushed out.
ps: Yasuhiro Nightow (creator of Trigun) is great artist. When i started out drawing, I tried to learn his style. Look the man up. His amazing!

Influence Meme

Meme from my Deviant art account. Just the influences that makes me draw and yes, there is many more! Never stop being inspired. Always be the student.

Pen Illustrations

Illustration of my friend Katie Bossey and her passion of musid and conducting.
Below is object staging by telling a story of its owner.

Start of Kazsiha Comic page

Most of you have been seeing a character I've been calling Kazsiha. She is one of my original characters that I am currently writing a novel about. Wish I could tell you all more about her without the fear of publishing issues. Also her design may change cause I'm still working her out. Overall, shes my baby so no no stealing.

Just a comic page to get a feel for her. This is just a thumbnail, part 1. Still deciding what to put in middle panel.

Fun Sketch: One time we lived

Just a fun sketch outside of school.
 "One time we lived
Like the time would never leave
One time we had
Luxuries and greef
We couldn't see an end
There was no end in sight
The time has...
The time has pulled us down
Bringing darkness to the light." -Moby, One time We lived

Perspective

I managed to take a fine class with Joko Bodino and this is what sold being an illustrator! I was once an animator, but then, I met MAYA and was instantly turned off. Dont get me wrong. I still love animation and animate, but Im waiting for a less 'pack-rat' way of animating.
For this we had to do isometeric perspective (lines all going the same way/camera/over view) and shade it two different ways.

And then we learned, first perspective which was my strongest!

New Blog, New ways

WELCOME All!
supernatural copyright wb and eric kripke.
I would like to say a warm welcome to anywho happened upon my blog or just let me just believe someone is actually reading this somewhere in the world. Any who! This my blog (if you havent guessed that I'm a little worried for you) where I post sketches, maybe a little venting with a side of geeking out. I decided to establish this wonderful piece of technology because it seems all the cool kids are doing or at least all the good illustrators are. I do have a Deviant art (http://am-nyeht.deviantart.com/), which is where you probably know me from, but I think I'm going to start to use that for finished pieces and this for sketches and other.

So stay tune. More sketches ( and even better ones) like above to come! Remember kiddies, all my drawing are copyrighted to me so no sneaky stealing. You can use them for learning purposes or inspiration but no saying you own them, cause then I'm going to hunt you down and trust me, its not pretty!
